为了配合大宝学习英语的热情,我打算开始认真学习一些英文。每天跟苏菲聊天时,总是遇到卡壳的时候,不知道用英语如何表达一个中文意思,所以现在时不时遇到一个中文概念,就查查字典,寻找一个合适的英文单词去解释。
今天的词就是‘迁就’。苏菲说,她奶奶非常迁就她爷爷,爷爷刚刚去世,奶奶很抑郁,并患疾,身心交瘁,对生命失去信心。夫就是在妻子眼里比“天”还高出一截。
